After the much hovering anticipation in the smartphone world, the Samsung has ultimately taken the latest Galaxy S5 out of the box for the outer world at MWC, in Barcelona, Spain.
The rumors which were suspecting for Galaxy S5 to be a game changer for the smartphone world and will provide the much stiffer competition for the companies like Apple, Microsoft-Nokia, Goggle, HTC and Sony has finally shown some reality after the launch of the phone.

The only thing from the expectation part hasn’t been fulfilled and that is a metal body for the Galaxy S5. The Samsung has again preferred the plastic as the cost effective material, though the dotted design on the rear side really adores the look of the new Galaxy S5.
Apart from that, the Samsung has fastest new generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor @ 2.5 GHz with 2 GB RAM, 16 MP HDR mode camera, 2800 mAh battery, IP 67 certificate needed to become water resistant, 16/32 GB internal memory and a much talked fingerprint scanner.
Price and release date of Galaxy S5 in India
Now, I can imagine the appetite of buyers of are just jumping on their couch after reading out all these specifications and want to owe a Galaxy S5 as soon as they can.
Though, that won’t be possible until April 11 as of this date the Samsung will officially start the selling of Galaxy S5.
The price part still has got the curtains over it by Samsung and it is very believable that the actual cost will be out just before the release and until then it still is a case of rumors again.
Although, India doesn’t have the much interest in the concept of contract phones like the United States, England, Canada and others, but, the leading mobile service provider Reliance just played a gamble by adopting this thought of contact phone for iPhone 5S and 5C.
The thought was taken with both the hands by Indian users, which now are able to owe an iPhone 5S on the EMI.
I guess, the Reliance will repeat the thought again, but, nothing has been said officially yet by them. Other mobile service providers like Airtel, Vodafone, Aircel, Docomo and idea also haven’t popped up with any pre-registration or EMI offer for now.
As India is not a big market of contract phones so the Samsung will be looking for the price factor with more concern in the market, which has one of the widest smartphone bases for the company.
The Galaxy S5 has predicted to lie in the range of mid INR 40,000 or just above the INR 50,000 looking up to the features it has got. But, still as nothing can be said until Samsung announces the price for its new Galaxy S5 by itself.
The Indian Territory has always been a crucial market for the Samsung to thrive and this time too, the company will be looking forward to make sure that its new Galaxy S5 becomes hit among the buyers so they can just strengthen their hold on the throne of smartphone world.
Well, let the price come out from the Samsung then only anything could be said. So, Indian readers, will you buy a Galaxy S5? Share your views in the comments below.
